Porsche 935
This Kremer Porsche 935 K3 Replica, built and restored to original K3 specifications and adapted to current safety requirements, is a proud member of the Kremer Porsche K3 family and shows the colors of the legendary Kremer sponsor Jägermeister.

The vehicle in detail:
Based on a white car body purchased from Porsche, the Jägermeister Kremer Porsche K3 was built to race in the 1980 German Championship. The car was driven by Bob Wollek, John Fitzpatrick, Jochen Maas and other iconic drivers. At the end of the season, Kremer sold the Jägermeister K3 to John Fitzpatrick, but it was already obvious that new regulations would soon end the golden age of Group 5 cars. From 1982 onwards, sports prototypes dominated the races at Le Mans and the world championship of the brand series. In the USA, the previously victorious Porsche 935 also lost importance and gradually disappeared from the race tracks and from the public eye.

Although the Jägermeister Porsche K3 still achieved numerous successes in the USA, this car also went into retirement, changed hands several times and was finally parked in a private garage, as our later research showed. After years, a growing community of motorsport enthusiasts discovered numerous racing cars that had gone missing. In 2007, a Jägermeister Kremer Porsche K3 resurfaced in Cologne, offered by a Swedish sales agent as an original, which was proven by the chassis number (000 0011). Even experts involved in the construction of the Kremer K3 were convinced that it was the genuine vehicle, restored in its iconic colors and with great attention to detail. Convinced of the authenticity of this vehicle, Eberhard Baunach bought the Jägermeister Porsche in February 2009. Doubts about the authenticity of the Jägermeister K3 located in Cologne surfaced when a Jägermeister Kremer Porsche K3 reappeared at the VI Porsche Reunion in the USA in 2018.After a complete restoration, it was described as the original vehicle sold by Kremer to John Fitzpatrick in early 1981 and exported by him to the USA.As a result, Eberhard Baunach initiated extensive research to confirm the authenticity of his Kremer Porsche K3 purchase.

Research revealed that the Porsche 935 K3, located in the USA, can be tracked thanks to a limited number of subsequent owners, as well as the restoration carried out and documented by the prestigious US company Gunnar Racing. During this restoration, the orange paintwork of the former Jägermeister livery was found. In addition, the research carried out on this vehicle revealed an unbroken link between the USA-Jägermeister Kremer K3 and its former owner and importer, John Fitzpatrick. It must be assumed that the Jägermeister K3 from the USA is the original vehicle.

At the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Klaus Ludwig drove the car, recalling his victory in a K3 at the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as his coronation as German champion that same year, also in the paddock of a Kremer Porsche K3.

Special features of the Kremer Porsche 935 K3 Replica:
With more than 10 years of experience in endurance racing, Kremer knew how important it is to install and remove things quickly. The drivetrain can be removed from the vehicle by pulling it out to the rear. From the driver's seat, it is possible to change the gear ratios while the transmission remains installed. The body shell can be removed in just 6 minutes to give mechanics access to the vehicle technology in an emergency. Replacing these parts is correspondingly easy.
